शिरूर लोकसभा मतदारसंघात महाविकास आघाडीने एकत्र काम करत अमोल कोल्हे यांना निवडून आणले. मात्र, डॉ. कोल्हे यांच्या एका विधानामुळे आघाडीच्या ऐकीत मिठाचा खडा पडला. यामुळे ठाकरे गटाचे शिवसैनिक चांगलेच भडकले असून त्यांनी कोल्हेंच्या कार्यक्रमात चांगलाच गोंधळ घातला.
